abstract |
A rubber-like high-elongation and weather-resistant coating composition as a two-part mixture of a first part containing a solution of a functional film-forming polymer and another part providing a curing component. Provide certain room temperature cured coating products. The stability of the premixed first part solution is limited to a few months. The curable film former and the curing component are mixed together at a total solids content of 4% to 25%. The viscosity is less than 20,000 cps (Brookfield) so that the paint can be sprayed, brushed or dipped to form a thin film of 0.001-0.020 mil. Painted rubber products containing metal conductive particles exhibit heat radiation useful for extending the useful life of the product. [Selection figure] None |
