abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a bone formation inducing material having a function of inducing bone formation and having stretchability capable of fitting to an affected area. The osteogenesis-inducing material of the present invention contains polyhydroxyalkanoate and silicon. The polyhydroxyalkanoate may include a copolymer of 3-hydroxybutyric acid and 4-hydroxybutyric acid. The silicon may be derived from a sol-gel reaction product of silicon alkoxide. The silicon alkoxide may be composed of at least one selected from the group consisting of tetramethoxysilane, tetraethoxysilane, and 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane. [Selection figure] None |
