titleOfInvention | Alkali-soluble resin and viscosity modifier using the same |
abstract | The present invention provides an alkali-soluble resin that has excellent moisture absorption characteristics and foam breakage and can be suitably used as a viscosity modifier. An alkali-soluble resin obtained by polymerizing a monomer component in an aqueous solution, wherein the alkali-soluble resin contains 100% by mass of the monomer component having a surfactant activity. The ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer is used under the condition that the content of the chain transfer agent is less than 0.0001% by mass with respect to 100% by mass of all monomer components. Is obtained by polymerizing a monomer component containing 10 to 95% by mass with respect to 100% by mass of the total monomer component, and the alkali-soluble resin is measured according to JIS K 7117-1, 25 ° C. An alkali-soluble resin having a pH of 7 and a viscosity in a non-volatile content of 2% by weight aqueous solution of 100 mPa · s or more. [Selection figure] None |
