titleOfInvention Solid oxide fuel cell
abstract In a solid oxide fuel cell in which an oxidant gas is supplied from a peripheral portion of an air electrode along a surface direction, characteristic deterioration of the air electrode is prevented. A solid oxide fuel cell includes a solid oxide fuel cell, a fuel electrode-side separator 104 laminated on a surface of the cell on the fuel electrode side, and a cell laminated on a surface of the cell on the air electrode side. The air electrode side separator 105, the cell holder 114 that accommodates the cells, the gap between the fuel electrode side separator 104 and the end of the cell, and the sealing material 115 disposed in the gap between the cell holder 114 and the end of the cell; The metal foil 116 that covers the portion of the sealing material 115 exposed to the oxidant gas flow path and the insulator 117 that fixes the metal foil 116 are provided. Groove-shaped or hole-shaped slits 1141 are arranged on the surface of the cell holder 114 located below the metal foil 116 exposed in the oxidant gas flow path, in contact with the metal foil 116.
