abstract |
To provide a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image, which is excellent in fixability and heat-resistant storage stability. An electrostatic latent image developing toner comprising toner core particles containing at least a binder resin and a shell layer covering the entire surface of the toner core particles, the shell layer being smoothed to a predetermined degree. When the cross section of the electrostatic latent image developing toner is observed using a transmission electron microscope, cracks in a direction substantially perpendicular to the surface of the toner core particles are observed inside the shell layer.
