abstract Disclosed is a condensing water heater having a front cover that has little discoloration even when combustion exhaust is condensed near the exhaust port and can maintain a high design for a long period of time. An exterior case 2 of a condensing type water heater 1 has a front opening 20, closes a main body case 2a in which a latent heat recovery heat exchanger 5 is accommodated, and the front opening 20, thereby recovering latent heat. And a front cover 2b having an exhaust port 9 for discharging the combustion exhaust gas sent through the heat exchanger 5. A pearly paint film containing a mica pigment coated with a metal oxide is applied to at least the upper portion of the exhaust port 9 of the front cover 2b. [Selection] Figure 2
