Activin-ActRIIa antagonists and uses for reducing or inhibiting FSH secretion. In certain aspects, the present invention provides compositions and methods for reducing FSH levels in a patient. The patient may be diagnosed with, for example, an FSH-related disorder, or may desire delay or inhibition of germ cell maturation. In certain embodiments, the present disclosure provides a method of reducing or inhibiting FSH secretion using a polypeptide comprising a soluble activin-binding ActRIIa polypeptide that binds to activin. In another aspect, the present disclosure provides a method of reducing FSH levels in a human subject having an FSH-related disorder. [Selection] Figure 31 |
