abstract | Disclosed is a composite nickel fine particle having improved sintering resistance and dispersibility while suppressing aggregation and fusion of particles, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Composite nickel fine particles having an average particle diameter in the range of 30 to 150 nm and a coefficient of variation (standard deviation / average particle diameter) of 0.2 or less. The composite nickel fine particles are obtained by heat-treating metallic nickel fine particles in an organic solvent in the presence of a sulfur-containing compound or a sulfur element, and further covering the surface with a phosphorus-containing organic compound. The carbon element is contained in the range of 1 to 0.5% by mass, the carbon element in the range of 0.3 to 1.5% by mass, and the phosphorus element in the range of 0.01 to 0.2% by mass.
