abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a papermaking method in which the yield of the filler is high and the papermaking process line is not fouled in a method for papermaking containing pulp fiber, filler and sulfuric acid band. A papermaking method according to the present invention is a method of making a paper stock containing pulp fibers, a filler and a sulfuric acid band, wherein the filler is mixed with sodium polyacrylate in the step of preparing the stock.
