titleOfInvention Electrode for electric double layer capacitor and electric double layer capacitor using the same
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide an electrode for an electric double layer capacitor excellent in high temperature characteristics and an electric double layer capacitor using the same. An electrode for an electric double layer capacitor and an electric double layer capacitor using the same according to the present invention include a current collector 2a, 3a and a polarizable electrode layer 2b electrically connected to the current collector 2a, 3a. 3b, and a protective layer 8 containing phosphorus adheres to the surfaces of the current collectors 2a and 3a. When the current collectors 2a and 3a having the protective layer 8 are immersed in water, The amount of the phosphorus compound to be dissolved is 1.35 mg / m 2 or less per unit surface area of the current collectors 2a and 3a in terms of phosphorus. With this configuration, the electrode for an electric double layer capacitor of the present invention and the electric double layer capacitor using the same can increase heat resistance and perform long-time charging / discharging in a state where deterioration of characteristics is suppressed.
