titleOfInvention Treatment method of wastewater containing radioactive strontium
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively removing radioactive strontium from wastewater containing radioactive strontium at low cost. When a wastewater containing radioactive strontium is supplied to a first reaction tank 1 as raw water W, an aqueous solution of a stable isotope strontium salt is added from a stable isotope strontium salt addition means 6. This raw water W1 is supplied from the pipe line 4A to the second reaction tank 2, and a sodium carbonate solution as an alkali metal carbonate at least 1 equivalent to the total strontium concentration is added from the sodium carbonate addition means 7. At this time, the pH of the raw water W2 discharged from the second reaction tank 2 to the pipe line 4B is monitored by the pH meter 8, and the pH is adjusted to 9 or more. Subsequently, the raw water W2 is subjected to cross-flow filtration with an MF membrane device 3 as a membrane separation device to obtain treated water W3 from which radioactive strontium carbonate has been removed.
