abstract | Provided are a developing device, an image forming apparatus, and a process cartridge capable of suppressing streak-like stains generated by rubbing the surface of an image carrier with a magnetic carrier spiked on a carrier recovery member. A first magnetic field generating means is disposed therein, and a developer carrying member that carries and rotates a two-component developer containing a magnetic carrier and a toner on the surface, and a developer carrying member and an image carrying member. In the carrier recovery area downstream of the image carrier rotating direction of the developing area facing the body 1, the magnetic carrier adhering to the image carrier is adsorbed on the surface of the image carrier to recover the second magnetic field generating means 91, and a second magnetic field generating means at a position where the carrier recovery member faces the image carrier in the developing device 4 having the carrier recovery member 13 rotatably provided at a predetermined interval on the image carrier.
