titleOfInvention | Stable sunscreen composition |
abstract | The present invention relates to personal care compositions, particularly stable sunscreen compositions. A problem associated with dibenzoylmethane sunscreens is that they are relatively unstable, especially in the presence of UV-B sunscreens. There is a need to use easier and more readily available compounds as sunscreen stabilizers, ensuring that the cost of such sunscreen compositions is reduced. The inventors of the present invention have been working to solve this problem intensively, and derivatives of the active substance (gingerol) found in ginger, i.e. gingerone, provide such improved stability. I found it to be. |
