Systems and methods for generating a medical score are disclosed. In some embodiments, an accurate medical score is generated in a relatively short period of time. This medical score can be derived from observational data and / or physiological time series data collected from the subject. In some embodiments, the scoring system obtains the data. At least a portion of the data is used to calculate a medical score. In one example, a medical professional can use the medical score to make an early prediction of complications in patients in the intensive care unit. |
