titleOfInvention | Chemical processing |
abstract | Methods of processing chemicals change their structure, and in particular increase their solubility and / or dissolution rate for intermediates and products made from structurally altered materials. Many of the methods provide useful intermediates and products, such as materials that can be more easily used in reactions or other processes that produce energy, fuel, food or materials. Chemicals treated using the processes described herein can be used to form highly concentrated solutions. The treatment can change the functionality of the chemical, and thus the polarity of the chemical, so that the treated chemical is insoluble or slightly or partially insoluble in the untreated chemical. It can be soluble in solvents that only dissolve. The method optionally increases the solubility of the chemical in water or an aqueous medium. The chemical can be, for example, a solid, liquid, or gel, or a mixture thereof. [Selection] Figure 1 |
