titleOfInvention Oxycarbonitride phosphor and light emitting device using the same
abstract Disclosed herein are a new family of oxycarbonitride phosphor compositions and light emitting devices comprising the same. Among 6-component M-Al-Si-O-N-C-Ln and 5-component M-Si-O-N-C-Ln (M = alkaline earth element, Ln = rare earth element), phosphor Comprises one crystalline phase or two crystalline phases and has high chemical and thermal stability. In some embodiments, the disclosed silicon oxycarbonitride phosphor emits green light at a wavelength of 530-550 nm. In a further embodiment, the disclosed phosphor composition emits blue-green to yellow light in the wavelength range of 450-650 nm under near UV and blue light excitation. [Selection] Figure 1A
