abstract | The present disclosure, according to some embodiments, relates to compositions, methods, devices, and systems for delivering a composition, eg, a fluid composition, to a patient. For example, the present disclosure, in some embodiments, relates to a direct current, DC, electroosmotic pump without gas generation. The pump, in some embodiments, is at least partially disposed between an anode, eg, a porous silver / silver oxide anode, a cathode, eg, a porous silver / silver oxide cathode, and the anode and cathode. A membrane may be provided, for example a porous ceramic membrane. The pump system is electrically connected to an electroosmotic pump, a reservoir containing a pump infusion fluid in fluid communication with the electroosmotic pump, and a delivery fluid chamber in fluid communication with the electroosmotic pump, and an anode and a cathode. There may be a connected controller and a cannula and / or needle in fluid communication with the delivery fluid chamber. In some examples, the pump infusion fluid can include water and / or the delivery fluid can include a drug. |
