The present invention discloses a process for lyophilization of treated cells comprising the use of a solution containing trehalose and an amphiphilic polymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone. In addition, the present invention discloses a process for treating, freezing, lyophilizing and reconstituting cancer cells. It is also possible to recover dead but intact cancerous cells that have been treated with immunomodulators and subsequently use them in cancer immunotherapy. |
