Disclosed are new artificial fuel feedstocks, feedstocks produced by the described process, methods of making the fuel feedstocks, and methods of generating energy from the fuel feedstocks. Components derived from the treated MSW waste stream can be used to make such feedstocks substantially free of glass, metal, dust and non-combustible materials and containing adsorbents. These feedstocks are useful for a variety of purposes including gasification and combustion fuels. In addition, one or more adsorbents may be added to the feedstock to reduce the amount of various pollutants present in traditional fuels and feedstocks, including but not limited to sulfur and chlorine. It's okay. In addition, these feedstocks with adsorbent added can reduce corrosion, improve fuel conversion, extend power plant life, reduce ash slagging, and reduce operating temperatures.
