abstract The present invention provides a method for mitigating patient motion sickness during a given event. The predetermined event starts at the start time. The patient has a vestibular system. The method includes determining a start time for a predetermined event. The method further includes stimulating the patient's vestibular system during treatment, wherein the treatment occurs a predetermined time before the start time of the predetermined event and lasts for a predetermined period.
