The present invention is a method for producing hybrid particles comprising a polymer and SiO 2 particles, wherein a) in the first polymerization stage, one or more monomers and colloidal SiO having an average particle size of 1 nm to 150 nm. A water-insoluble phase comprising 2 particles is polymerized in an aqueous medium, b) in the second polymerization stage, one or more monomers are dissolved in the aqueous medium in the presence of the polymer obtained in the first polymerization stage.
