abstract | The present invention relates to a form of crystalline 4′-epidaunorubicin hydrochloride that is stable and readily soluble, and to a process for its manufacture. This process consists of (a) a solvent A selected from the group consisting of C1 and C2 halogenated solvents and mixtures thereof; and (b) C1-C5 linear and branched alcohols and mixtures thereof.
