titleOfInvention | Sphingomyelin quantification method and quantification kit |
abstract | To provide a sphingomyelin quantification method and a sphingomyelin quantification kit capable of easily quantifying sphingomyelin with high specificity and high sensitivity. A method for quantifying sphingomyelin in a sample having the following steps: (1) A step of allowing sphingomyelinase, alkaline phosphatase, choline oxidase, and peroxidase to act on a sample in the presence of a nonionic surfactant ( The sphingomyelinase is derived from a microorganism belonging to the genus Bacillus), and (2) the fluorescence intensity, absorbance or luminescence amount of the compound produced in step (1) is measured, and sphingomyelin is determined from a calibration curve determined in advance. Step of quantification, and sphingomyelin quantification kit containing sphingomyelinase, alkaline phosphatase, choline oxidase, and peroxidase, and nonionic surfactant (the sphingomyelinase is derived from a microorganism belonging to the genus Bacillus) .
