abstract | Dispersion of a granule in a viscous composition is easy to adjust, and it is excellent in coordinating moderate foaming power and foaming sustainability to provide the desired cosmetic effect and adjusting the feeling of irritation to the skin. Provided are an effervescent skin external preparation that prevents dripping and has an excellent feeling of familiarity to the skin, an acidic granule for effervescent skin external use, and a method for producing the same. An acidic granule for an effervescent skin external preparation of the present invention is mixed with a viscous composition containing at least a carbonate, the viscous composition at the time of use, and reacts with the carbonate to cause foaming. It is used as the acidic granule in an effervescent skin external preparation in which an acidic granule containing at least an acidic substance and a water-soluble granulating agent is combined.
