Both end portions of the fixing belt 200 in the rotation axis direction are electrode portions 201, which receive power from the power supply member 231, an alternating current is applied to the resistance heating element layer of the fixing belt 200, and Joule heat is generated. A hook-like portion 202 is erected on the electrode portion 201 on the center side of the power supply member 231 in the rotation axis direction of the fixing belt 200, and suppresses the abrasion powder of the power supply member 231 from diffusing into the sheet passing region.
