abstract |
Provided is a lubricating oil for an internal combustion engine which can suppress an increase in wear of a sliding portion when moisture is present in the lubricating oil at low cost without anti-back performance. A lubricating oil for an internal combustion engine in which zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZnDTP) and overbased calcium sulfonate are blended with a base oil, wherein the overbased calcium sulfonate is micellized with calcium sulfonate. The calcium carbonate particles and the overbased calcium sulfonate have a volume-based median diameter (D 50 ) of 10 nm or less in a hydrodynamic diameter particle size distribution measured by a dynamic light scattering method.
