abstract | To provide a golf ball excellent in flight distance, flight stability and control performance. A golf ball includes a center, an intermediate layer, a reinforcing layer, a cover, and a paint layer. The golf ball has a large number of dimples on its surface. The cover is molded from a resin composition containing a thermoplastic polyurethane (A) and a polyisocyanate mixture (B). This polyisocyanate mixture (B) contains a urethane prepolymer (B1) having two or more isocyanate groups or an isocyanate compound (B2) having three or more isocyanate groups. The polyisocyanate mixture (B) further contains a thermoplastic resin (B3) that does not substantially react with isocyanate groups. The golf ball is obtained with a mold having a protrusion 34 protruding from the equator. The protrusion 34 includes a part of the pimple 28. [Selection] Figure 2 |
