PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent emulsification stability even when a hydrophilic surfactant is not substantially blended when a powder is blended in an oil phase, is easy to produce and does not irritate the skin. An oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic that can give a fresh, smooth and soft feel to the skin is provided. An oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic comprising (A) an alkylcellulose hydrophobically modified with an alkyl group having 14 to 22 carbon atoms and (B) a powder.
