titleOfInvention Medical equipment
abstract A medical device capable of bending a distal end portion of a tubular body with a small radius of curvature and capable of suppressing the occurrence of kinks. A medical device (eg, a catheter) has a tubular body that is inserted into a body cavity. The tubular body 300 includes a tubular main body (sheath 16) and a hollow tube 32 into which an operation line 40 is inserted. The hollow tube 32 includes a first portion 32a and a second portion 32b having a bending rigidity larger than that of the first portion 32a and adjacent to the proximal end side of the first portion 32a. The tubular body 300 has a high-rigidity region having a higher bending rigidity than the arrangement region R2 of the second portion 32b on the proximal end side with respect to the arrangement region R2. The arrangement area of the first portion 32a in the tubular body 300 is a low-rigidity area R1 having a bending rigidity smaller than that of the arrangement area R2. The distal end of the operation line 40 is fixed to the tubular body 300 on the distal end side with respect to the distal end of the low rigidity region R1. [Selection] Figure 1
