abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a vinyl chloride resin composition, which is capable of obtaining a molded article having excellent thermal stability during molding and less coloring. SOLUTION: A vinyl chloride resin composition comprising a liquid removal step for removing a part of a solvent contained in a vinyl chloride resin dispersion obtained by a vinyl chloride polymerization step, and a drying step after the liquid removal step. 1 to 25 of polyvinyl alcohol having a saponification degree of 75 to 99.9 mol% and a viscosity average degree of polymerization of 100 to 450 between the liquid removal step and the drying step. The manufacturing method which further has the addition process which adds the polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution contained with the density | concentration of a mass% so that this polyvinyl alcohol may be 0.01-5 mass parts with respect to 100 mass parts of vinyl chloride resin.
