abstract | The present invention provides a slaked lime and a method for producing slaked lime in which the BET specific surface area and the effective amount of slaked lime are sufficiently increased and the COD is kept low. The slaked lime of the present invention is slaked lime produced by a digestion step 4 in which quick lime 1 and water 3 are reacted, and a predetermined additive 2 used in the digestion step 4 is added. It includes a material in which an organic compound having a hydroxyl group and an inorganic compound containing silicon dioxide are combined. Slaked lime produced by these additives can achieve both a low COD and a high BET specific surface area, and is optimally used as an acid gas removing agent. [Selection] Figure 1 |
