The present invention provides a composite binder for a battery, a negative electrode employing the composite binder, and a lithium battery. The present invention relates to a composite binder for a battery comprising inorganic particles, a binder polymer, and an organic / organic binder, a negative electrode including the same, and a lithium battery. Here, the inorganic particles are dispersed in the binder polymer, specifically, one or more selected from the group consisting of silica, alumina, titania, magnesium fluoride and zirconia.
