abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an electrophotographic toner that has both good cleaning properties and charging properties for a long period of time. An electrophotographic toner obtained by externally adding a fatty acid metal salt to a toner base particle containing at least a binder resin, photographed at 15 kV and 1000 times using a scanning electron microscope, and having a size of 80 μm × 110 μm. The total number of detections is 1 or more and 40 or less when a domain having a major axis of 0.2 μm or more is detected by extracting EDS element mapping, and there is no domain having a major axis of 7 μm or more and the major axis is 2 μm or less.
