titleOfInvention Device to remove food from the patient's stomach
abstract The present invention relates to removing intake from a patient's stomach, facilitating weight loss and preventing weight gain. When a patient wears an external gastrostomy joint on the stomach, the ingested food uses a pump-based or siphon-based system to achieve weight loss. Can be removed through the gastrostomy connection. The process of removing ingested food can be improved by alternately injecting liquid into the stomach and removing material from the stomach. Optionally, a nutritional supplement or drug can be added to the injected liquid. Optionally, a coplanar connectorized system with built-in valves can be used to simplify the interface with gastrostomy hardware that remains incorporated into the patient. Optionally, the system can be configured not to be used further after a trigger event occurs. [Selection] Figure 15
