abstract To provide an air cleaner 1-1 capable of efficiently sterilizing / deodorizing / humidifying indoor air and effectively sterilizing / deodorizing the inside of the apparatus at the same time and effectively purifying indoor air. Air taken in from an air intake port by a fan housed in a case is passed through a dust collecting filter to collect dust in the air. Further, a tank 29 for storing hypochlorous acid water, a vaporizer 30 for vaporizing the hypochlorous acid water 27 in the tank 29, and a part of the vaporized hypochlorous acid water mist directly from the mist discharge port 41. Mist discharge means 40 is also provided which blows out the outside and blows out another part from the connection pipe 43 to the front side of the dust collection filter 20. Hypochlorous acid water mist blown out from the mist releasing means 40 adheres to the dust collecting filter 20, disinfects bacteria, viruses and molds adhering to the dust collecting filter 20 and deodorizes them.
