abstract | The present invention relates to a liquid crystal composition having negative dielectric anisotropy used for an operation mode utilizing vertical alignment, having a good compatibility, a high response speed in a wide temperature range, and a high display quality. A liquid crystal composition suitable for obtaining the liquid crystal and a liquid crystal element using the liquid crystal composition are provided.
