titleOfInvention Spinal fixation assembly, compressor tool
abstract A spinal screw assembly is provided that is adapted to be secured to a vertebra to provide anchorage across at least two vertebrae. The assembly includes a pedicle screw having a substantially spherical head, a threaded shaft portion, and an engagement surface in the head for screwing the aforementioned screw into the vertebra; Acts as a tower 106 with an open top, a detachment for manipulation of screws during implantation into the vertebra, a base 108 in the proximal region of the body member, and a transition between the base and tower A body member comprising a detaching zone 110 to be removed. A set screw 302 that can be re-sealable in the body member secures and fully includes the rod 202 in the assembly described above. When the screw is fully integrated into the vertebra, the disengagement portion remains entirely outside the wound and is removed or cut off. [Selection] Figure 3
