abstract Disclosed is a liquid crystal polyester multifilament having excellent strength and elastic modulus that can be quantitatively produced while maintaining a state with less fuzz during long-term production. A liquid crystal polyester multifilament comprising a liquid crystal polyester containing 0.01 to 1% by weight of a metal soap when the total weight of the fiber is 100% by weight, and the single fiber fineness is 0.1. The liquid crystalline polyester multifilament and the liquid crystalline polyester multifilament characterized in that the number of single fibers is in the range of 30 to 1000.
