titleOfInvention Pattern paper
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flock for a pattern paper that maintains the shape of the pattern especially during paper making without adding a liquid polymer flocculant. A calcium salt is added to a mixture of alginic acid and at least one of a fiber and a cationic substance to be aggregated. The mixture to which the calcium salt is added is preferably a mixture of at least one of a dye and a pigment. Moreover, it is preferable that the polymerization degree of alginic acid is 100-1000, Furthermore, it is preferable that a fiber is a cellulose fiber or chemical fiber whose average fiber length is 0.02-3.5 mm.
