abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-off and adjustment method for hydrogen released from a hydrogen compound. On / off of hydrogen release is controlled by contact-noncontact operation between reactants. First, a reactant containing at least a hydride powder, a catalyst powder, and water is supplied, and at least two of the three are mixed to form a mixture. Hydrogen gas is generated by adjusting the contact area between the mixture and the remaining material excluding the mixture of the hydride powder, catalyst powder, and water. The hydrogen releasing reaction stops when there is no contact between the mixture and the remaining material. Alternatively, inhibitors or methods of suppression are used to suppress or stop the hydrogen releasing reaction. The hydrogen release rate can be controlled and adjusted based on the magnitude of the suppression. [Selection] Figure 3A |
