titleOfInvention | Liquid ejector |
abstract | A liquid ejecting apparatus capable of suppressing fluctuations in piezoelectric distortion of a piezoelectric element due to an applied electric field is provided. A pressure generating chamber communicating with a nozzle opening for discharging a liquid, a piezoelectric element including a piezoelectric layer and an electrode provided on the piezoelectric layer, and a pressure change is caused in the pressure generating chamber. And a driving unit that supplies a driving signal for discharging droplets from the nozzle opening to the piezoelectric element. The piezoelectric layer applies a triangular wave having a different maximum applied electric field Emax to obtain a residual polarization value Pr. The first inflection point A1, the second inflection point A2, and the third inflection point are obtained from the curve indicating the relationship between the maximum applied electric field Emax and the remanent polarization value Pr when the maximum applied electric field Emax is smaller. It is made of a lead-free piezoelectric material that generates the point A3, and the driving means supplies a driving signal in which the maximum driving electric field Emax is in the range between the second inflection point A2 and the third inflection point A3 to the piezoelectric element. The liquid ejecting apparatus. [Selection] Figure 6 |
