abstract | Provided is a light emitting module that improves light extraction efficiency and reduces luminance unevenness in a light emitting module using a phosphor that is excited by ultraviolet light or short wavelength visible light. [Solution] A plurality of light-emitting elements 14 that emit ultraviolet light or short-wavelength visible light are placed in a line, and a sealing resin 30 containing phosphor 25a and the like that is excited by the light source and emits light is placed on each light-emitting element 14. A light emitting module in which the light emitting elements 14 and 14 are connected by a sealing resin 30 was formed. Accordingly, the sealing resin has substantially the same thickness as the light emitting element, and the difference between the bright part and the dark part that appears on the surface of the sealing resin according to the distance from the light emitting element is reduced, and the luminance unevenness on the module surface is reduced. Since the light from the phosphor is emitted outside the sealing resin without being totally reflected at the boundary surface, the light extraction efficiency is improved.
