titleOfInvention Phosphor and light emitting device using the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor with little decrease in emission intensity even at a high temperature. A phosphor according to an embodiment is a phosphor that exhibits an emission peak in a wavelength range of 570 to 670 nm when excited with light having an emission peak in a wavelength range of 250 to 520 nm. Including a matrix having substantially the same crystal structure as that of Sr 2 Si 7 Al 3 ON 13 , wherein the matrix is activated by Eu, and Sr and Ca are represented by the formula 0.008 ≦ M Ca / (M Sr + M Ca ) ≦ 0.114 (Wherein, M Ca is the number of moles of Ca, and M Sr is the number of moles of Sr). [Selection figure] None
