abstract Even when the detachable unit is reduced in cost and size, etc., the detachable unit is less likely to cause a problem that an operator may deform the conductive plate due to an error when the conductive plate is assembled to the detachable unit. An image forming apparatus is provided. The image forming apparatus main body is electrically connected to a metal member that is applied with voltage or grounded in accordance with a mounting operation to the image forming apparatus main body. A conduction plate 30 is installed. The conductive plate 30 is provided with a contact portion 30a that comes into contact with the metal member of the apparatus main body while being elastically deformed in a predetermined direction, and a handle portion 30b disposed in the vicinity of the contact portion 30a.
