abstract The present invention provides a hard capsule in which the disintegration of the hard capsule film is enhanced by the contents. A hard capsule in which a hard capsule film is filled with a content, the content containing a carbonate and an acid that is solid at room temperature. Foaming by the reaction of carbonate and acid enhances the disintegration of the hard capsule film. In the above configuration, the base of the hard capsule film can be gelatin, and the acid can be vitamin C. Moreover, the ratio of the acid with respect to the sum of carbonate and an acid can be 30 mass%-60 mass%. [Selection figure] None
