abstract |
An acrylic polymer composition comprising a melt blend of a thermoplastic high molecular weight acrylic material (HMWA) and a thermoplastic low molecular weight acrylic material (LMWA). 70% by weight or more of HMWA is composed of an alkyl (alk) acrylate (co) polymer based on the total weight of HMWA. The (co) polymer comprises a first polymer derived from 80 wt% or more of C 1 -C 12 alkyl (C 1 -C 8 alk) acrylate monomer units. HMWA has a weight average molecular weight of 40 kilodaltons to 1000 kilodaltons. The (co) polymer comprises a second polymer derived from 80 wt% or more of C 1 -C 12 alkyl (C 1 -C 8 alk) acrylate monomer units. LMWA has a weight entanglement molecular (M e) a weight average molecular weight of 250 kilodaltons. HMWA is larger than LMWA. [Selection] Figure 1 |
