abstract Provided are a novel anthracene derivative, a novel material capable of obtaining blue light emission with high color purity, a light emitting element using the same, a light emitting device, and an electronic device. By using a novel anthracene derivative in which a carbazole derivative functional group is bonded only at the 9-position of anthracene, a light-emitting element using electroluminescence with high emission efficiency can be obtained.
