Disclosed is an electrolyte solution for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery excellent in discharge capacity and cycle life, and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same. Non-water comprising colloidal silica, lithium ions, at least one selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by general formulas (1) to (7) as an electrolyte, and an organic solvent. Electrolyte solution for electrolyte secondary battery and electrolyte solution for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same.
