An electrostatic image developing toner is a toner for developing an electrostatic image comprising toner particles containing a resin, the resin comprising an alkyl methacrylate monomer and an alkyl acrylate monomer. The weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 5,000 or more and less than 100,000, and the ratio Mw / Mn between the weight average molecular weight (Mw) and the number average molecular weight (Mn) is 1. It is characterized by comprising a copolymer of 0 or more and 1.5 or less.
