abstract 【Task】 The present invention provides a novel chabazite-type zeolite having copper and an alkali metal at an ion exchange site, a nitrogen oxide reduction removal catalyst comprising the zeolite, and a nitrogen oxide reduction removal method using the catalyst. . [Solution] There is provided a chabazite-type zeolite characterized by having copper and an alkali metal at an ion exchange site. Such a chabazite-type zeolite can be produced by producing a chabazite-type zeolite, converting it to a proton type, carrying copper, and then carrying an alkali metal. Such chabazite-type zeolite exhibits superior catalytic performance as compared with conventional chabazite-type zeolite catalysts in which only copper is supported. [Selection figure] None
